Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others let advertising services recognise your browser on later visits and on other websites.
What cookies are
How this website uses them
The website itself works without cookies. Booking a table, reading the menu and every other page behave the same whatever you choose.
If you accept cookies, we switch on advertising tags from Meta and Google. They tell us which of our adverts bring people to the website and to a booking, and they let Meta and Google show our adverts to people who are likely to be interested. If you decline, these tags are never loaded and nothing is sent to Meta or Google.
The cookies
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| augusto-consent | This website (stored in your browser, not a cookie) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Lets Meta recognise your browser, so we can measure which adverts lead to visits and bookings and show our adverts to people likely to be interested. | Up to 3 months |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Lets Google measure which adverts lead to visits and bookings, and show our adverts to people likely to be interested. | Up to 3 months |
The first line is always there, because it is how the website remembers your answer. The Meta and Google cookies are only set after you accept.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after having accepted, we remove the advertising cookies we can reach and stop loading the tags. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
